A Testament of Belief Masquerading as Science. Currently, new comics are posted every Tuesday and Friday - but we want it to become a daily comic strip.

We want to bring you a new comic strip every day. She's crazy good, way better than I am. Hiring Elisa would allow me to become a full time nerd comedy writer, and to finally give the characters and topics the depth they deserve. It would also get Elisa one step closer to her dream of becoming a professional freelance artist. Over the last year and a half, I've drawn over a hundred comics. With your help, we can release the second volume in five months. That's less than half the waiting you were doing before! More precisely, it is exactly If we reach our goal, Elisa will be guaranteed six months of pay to draw a new comic every day.
The Prism Podcast – Carbon Dating Caption Contest!!!
Each comic strip takes several hours to write, pencil, ink, letter, and tweak - not to mention the blog posts, moderating, promoting, and reformatting for print. We will be able to divide the labor, with Elisa handling the pencils and ink, and Kyle handling the rest. But we don't want to stop there. The initial amount was what we needed to make it a daily comic strip.
Tristan and I will be hosting a live science outreach event in Colorado Springs we're lovingly calling Super Science Mashup. We will liverecord from the events, as well as additional content specifically for Carbon Dating readers. Running a podcast is a big commitment, and we'll recruit help to make sure it's top notch.

Well, it was her idea. Kyle will wax his chest and broadcast his suffering to the world in HD as the kickoff to the Podcast. Carbon Dating is currently published twice-weekly on CarbonComic.

Strips are also published in print in the Skeptical Inquirer, a national science magazine. Kyle also draws full-page comics for Skeptic Magazine which feature original stories on pseudoscientific topics in the same visual style.
Carbon Dating - a comic strip for science geeks by Kyle Sanders » Updates — Kickstarter
You can keep track with updates through this Kickstarter, or at CarbonComic. Wow, looks like we underestimated how many people would love to see themselves in the comic strip. My previous record is drawing 30 comics in 30 days, so it's going to be a long month of drawing reward! But this is a great problem to have, with both of us drawing full-tilt, we'll build up a safety buffer of comics in no-time, and be that much closer to the second volume.
I will shoot for getting them all drawn in August, but it will be close! If we reach the stretch goals, both Kyle and Elisa will hit the drawing table hard to produce lots of brand new content. It will take weeks to generate new exclusive art for the digital edition, but we're already working on that as we speak.
