There are no participation or recruitment fees! During the event, candidates will move between the client-stations, and each candidate will have 5 minutes to pitch themselves to you. Prior to the event, ReDI and Cogs will discuss your recruitment needs, then should you decide to hire a candidate after the event, Cogs and ReDI will support you with the hiring, visa and onboarding processes.

The event will be published on all Cogs and ReDI School media channels as well as in the industry press, so it a great opportunity for your business to get additional coverage, whilst showing your support this a great project. He conducts research in four areas: John teaches courses in user experience design, service design, and HCI methods.

He has authored more than 90 peer-reviewed publications and has been awarded more than 30 patents. Prior to joining Carnegie Mellon, John worked for Philips Electronics conducting research on future interactive TV concepts for the home. As co-founder and Director at TDA, Ben has spent the past five years advising businesses ranging from startups to financial institutions on how to structure and integrate their user experience teams. A series of 2-person stations are set up around the room to form a circuit.

A reviewer a senior-level UX-industry professional or UX-industry recruiter is seated at each station. Participants sit with the reviewer and hand over their resume plus whatever work samples they've brought, and in the few minutes allowed, the reviewer provides their assessment. Feedback is brief and high-level.

At the end of the session it's time for the participant to move on.

Work samples may include wireframes, documentation, screenshots, etc. Samples can be presented on paper or via laptops or tablets. This will make it possible for reviewers to get a much clearer picture of participants' capabilities in the time allowed.
