You may want to pick guys who are more home bodies and lean towards less participatory activities. OP, given your latest post where you say that you don't typically cancel plans or significantly curtail activities, is there any chance that this has affected your self image more than it has affected the way others might perceive you as a potential relationship partner?

There are sensible, sensitive types out there. I agree that you probably shouldn't tell someone you have fibro on the first date. Get to know each other and see if you seem compatible. Tell him soon, but not immediately. Later, you could probably arrange your bed so the electric blanket is only on your side. I was diagnosed in but I suspected I had it for years.
