Since Titans are worth twice the points of pilots, it would be like getting 10 pilot kills. In addition to that, I usually get an additional 2 or 3 pilot kills as a Titan too under the worst of circumstances.

Often I see myself outmatched on the ground and yet I get matchmaked with people that seem to really suck at piloting Titans, which seems too convenient to be a coincidence. I suspect that they match based on performance, the question is how that works. You may also have unlocked the wrong items for sustainability with credits. I personally have got at least an average of an extra pilot kills per round by just switching to the pilot hover mod alone.

I got more titan kills per round after I switched to the battery backup. Both of those are relatively high rank unlocks which can be unlocked easily with credits. There are similar unlocks that enhance stealth obtained in the same way. Now I do run into an occasional OP match. But I suspect it is because I neglect to select "Matchmake Now" or whatever the option is.
