I don't think you need to see each other every single day once in a relationship but definitely a few times a week. If you are lax on it, then ideas of disinterest will arise. The last two relationships of any length I had involved daily texting or calling. The other guy tried to text me constantly and wanted longish chatty phone calls.

What kind of men are you trying to date? Most social interactions I observe are not that mind-blowing IMO. There might be some fun things to discuss, but unless you're dating Richard Branson or Elon Musk, I doubt most guys will have anything more exciting to tell you than about their trip to Asia or Europe.
