But as I opened the shipping box I noticed the box for the product wasn't just right. So taking all the parts out I noticed my hands are covered in grease thread sealant and it was missing to boot. Then all the parts appear to have been coated with the thread sealant and semi put together. Clearly this was not a new item being shipped to me, I was not satisfied.
But and here's the kicker It does not fit my 20lb propane tank, one from lowes and also doesn't fit my Propane appliance either. I guess the one star rating fits this appropriately The reason they leak is because the unit that houses the pressure regulator is separate from the hose itself. So you have joint after joint to connect and they leak.
The pressure adjustment cap leaks as well since it is really cheap loose fitting plastic. I should send them a bill for the amount of propane I lost because of these things. If you want a good hose that has a quick disconnect this POS doesn't and doesn't leake buy the Camco hose. So I guess this is a review of Amazons "checking" procedures. I bought one of these to go with a blue flame Mr Heater that I also bought from Amazon. I hooked it all up, and turned on the gas and So, I got on a 'chat' with Amazon and asked for an immediate response, IE send me a new one right away!!
